Registered Nurse – 7SE – Trauma Surgery Ward

7 South East (7SE) are searching for registered nurses to join the team caring for trauma patients at one of the two accredited trauma centers in Victoria. As an accredited trauma centre we care for the most injured patients in the state on our 30 bed ward. This includes traumatic plastic surgery graft care.
As a busy surgical ward receiving patients direct from ED and ICU, you will work alongside our team of senior nurses both bedside and CNCs, as well as clinical educators in a supportive environment to advance your skills and knowledge in this specialty area. Our 7 day Allied Health model and daily consultant lead ward rounds ensure that care for our patients is excellent and provides staff with opportunities to learn from the whole multi disciplinary team.
To be successful for this role you will have:
At least 2 years of acute nursing expereince
Experience in a surgical speciality such as trauma, orthopaedics or plastics is desirable
Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
Availability to work a range of AM/PM & ND shifts
Effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development
