Responsibilities
• Schedule and oversee field and office projects• Produce and oversee various types of surveys• Present data and prepare reports for clients• Collaborate with project managers, crews, and government agencies• Stay up to date on project timelines• Provide QA/QC and peer review of surveys• Perform staff management tasks• Resolve complicated boundaries• Generate contour maps and alignments• Conduct project research• Write legal descriptions• Responsible for project lifecycle• Additional duties as needed
Requirements
• Professional Land Surveyor license in Tennessee• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Survey, Geomatics, GIS, or related field• 5-8+ years of office-related experience• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D• Broad knowledge of surveying fundamentals and equipment operations• Effective communication skills• Preferred: Proficient with GEOPAK, MicroStation, and OpenRoads• Preferred: Experience with LiDAR capabilities
Key Skills Needed
