Job Overview:
As a Regional Vice President of Sales, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Growth and play a pivotal role in expanding our provider network. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and drive the sales team towards achieving recruitment targets within the region. You will leverage your extensive experience in closing complex deals and leading a sales team to consistently surpass objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the field sales team, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business health assessment.
Provide support during advanced-stage negotiations and contribute to closing deals.
Supervise the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales team members.
Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, and more to ensure cohesive operations.
Design and deliver training for the sales team on key healthcare topics.
Facilitate visits for prospective physicians and participate actively in prospect events.
Travel requirement: Over 80% local and/or regional travel.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
At least 8 years of experience in healthcare sales, with a mandatory 3 years in a managerial role overseeing a field sales team.
Proven track record of leading sales teams to meet and exceed targets.
Strong experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, to manage sales activities and pipelines.
Skillful in developing training programs and managing multiple priorities.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000, based on experience and location. This role includes a commission-based incentive plan and eligibility for restricted stock units.
