Regional Territory Sales Manager
We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Regional Territory Sales Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in expanding our channel partner network and sales infrastructure within your assigned region, driving towards revenue targets and goals. Collaborating closely with leadership, networks, and influencers, you'll elevate brand awareness and support our sales strategy, leveraging innovative technology poised to revolutionize the dairy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate, nurture, and manage relationships within the industry to enhance market share with channel partners, farmers, and influencers.
Guide the sales process from lead generation to quote to closure, while aiding channel partners in closing sales and fostering new relationships.
Secure agreements with channel partners and influencers to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
Liaise with various departments to stay informed about R&D projects at prospective client farms, facilitating integration where necessary.
Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to expand and retain customer base.
Keep leadership informed by providing detailed activity and result reports, including daily call logs, weekly plans, and periodic territory analyses.
Represent the company at conferences and industry events to attract new partners and clients.
Offer insights for product, service, and policy improvements based on evaluation of results and competitive developments.
Conduct cost-benefit and needs analyses for existing and potential customers to tailor solutions to their requirements.
Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales targets within specified timelines.
Qualifications:
Preferably possess post-secondary education in business, marketing, or sales.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in dairy/agriculture.
Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record.
Knowledge of Milk Quality, Dairy Nutrition, and Reproduction is advantageous.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and close sales.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, sometimes including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions:
This position entails approximately 50% travel within the defined territory, both nationally and internationally. Overnight stays may be required on occasion. The role primarily involves visiting client sites such as farms and industrial settings. Flexibility in schedule, including occasional nights and weekends, is necessary to accommodate time zones and travel requirements. When not traveling, remote work from a home office is the norm.
