Overview AssuredPartners West Region is excited to add a Regional Senior Accountant to our growing business in Denver, CO! This role will report to the Regional CFO and provide general accounting functions and manages Premium Loan financing.

What You'll Do Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office. Ensure all region/corporate intercompany expenses are properly supported and allocated to the correct location. Support the month end close process by ensuring all intercompany, inter-region, and corporate allocated entries are properly recorded Review and document variance explanations for the region. Have an overall understanding of the financials and have the ability to answer specific questions from senior management. Prepare monthly financial reports and provide to regional leadership team Work with regional team to enhance current financial reports and create new financial reports as requested Review monthly reconciliations for the various agency locations. Alert Regional CFO to any concerns or issues with the reconciliations Support regional forecasting by reviewing agency forecasts to identify any issues or concerns with key assumptions. On an ad hoc basis, assist agency accounting leaders with their forecasts Oversee the regional cost center and provide forecasts for the cost center Advise agency accounting leaders in accounting matters where appropriate. Analyze accounting problems and arrive at workable solutions. Evaluate information, identify key issues that need to be addressed and develop courses of action that effectively address the issue at hand. Manage assigned projects by prioritizing work to meet established deadlines and ensuring that accounting objectives are accomplished while keeping the CFO informed of project status and issues identified. Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiencies and drive projects to completion. Maintain a well-organized financial data and document warehouse. Other duties as assigned. Travel is expected to be negligible in this role. What's in it For You?
