Our Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Acadia Healthcare 401(k) plan Paid vacation and sick time Opportunity for growth that is second to none in the industry  Your Job as a Regional Patient Account Representative: The Regional Patient Account Representative will monitor patient balances to ensure compliance with group policies and provide information and direction to clinic staff regarding patient financial obligations. 
Hours: This position offers a hybrid schedule option.
Your Responsibilities as a Regional Patient Account Representative: Answer clinic questions regarding patient accounts (co-pay, co-insurance, deductibles, etc.) Serve as an escalation point for patient financial questions or concerns. Ensure that information is communicated accurately and timely between clinic staff and the region's centralized billing office. Review whether assigned clinics are securing patient payments on a timely basis. Negotiate and secure payment on aged balances. Propose discounts when appropriate.  Complete Self-Pay adjustment form and submit for approval, see SOP. Monitor compliance with authorization and referral requirements. Identify and propose opportunities to increase collection rates and enhance patient understanding and awareness of their financial benefits and obligations. Monitor and report key metrics. Audit patient accounts for completeness and accuracy (i.e., signed financial consent(s), Insurance Verification Form (IVF), authorization, Insurance card (front/back), driver's license, etc.). Your Skills and Qualifications as a Regional Patient Account Representative: High school diploma or equivalent required. 3 years plus of healthcare insurance experience, preferable with multi-site locations. Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external. Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail. Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
