As a Regional Account Manager, you'll play a vital role in our mission by managing a designated territory, providing education, and coordinating care for prescribers regarding our products and services.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in the prescriber experience and collaborate with Pharmacy Operations and outside sales teams to achieve improvement and sales goals.
Achieve designated call expectations for assigned prescribers, focusing on top targets, key influencers, and pipeline leads.
Develop key relationships with specialty practices and businesses within the targeted regional territory.
Assist in sales escalations and maintain regular communication with field sales representatives regarding details impacting prescriber or patient experience.
Support education initiatives and deliver key messages and product presentations to ensure territory performance meets requirements.
Document and maintain detailed records of customer interactions and care needs in CRM systems.
Handle customer complaints with discretion and forward to appropriate administrative staff.
Manage prescriber communication preferences and nurture relationships to improve loyalty and retention.
Utilize tools for efficient prescription processing and assist with prior authorizations and prescription renewals as needed.
Collaborate with sales teams to achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent program from a two-year college or technical school; Bachelor's Degree desired.
2+ years' experience in healthcare or customer service preferred, familiarity with specialty providers, clinics, and hospitals desired.
Strong team player with excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and respond effectively to inquiries or complaints.
Self-motivated and results-driven individual with a proactive approach.
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Familiarity with pharmacy terminology and drug reimbursement processes preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in data entry and computer systems.
