Job Overview:
Are you passionate about healthcare and customer service? Join our team as a Remote Referral Specialist! We're seeking individuals with recent healthcare or customer service experience to help manage referral orders and schedule patient appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of referral orders in our electronic health record system.
Make outbound calls to schedule new patient appointments and follow up on referrals.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and external stakeholders.
Navigate electronic health records to validate and capture clinical and financial information.
Maintain patient privacy and security in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in healthcare or customer service (preferred 2-5 years).
Strong typing skills (minimum 35 wpm with 90% accuracy).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
