Position Overview: The Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist will play a critical role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent for our mental health services. This role requires a deep understanding of both HR practices and the unique needs of the mental health field. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting and HR, with a strong emphasis on mental health professionals, and will be adept at managing HR functions to support a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities: Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified mental health professionals, including therapists, counselors, psychologists, and support staff. Conduct job analyses and create detailed job descriptions and specifications for various positions within the organization. Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and partnerships with educational institutions. Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the selection process in collaboration with hiring managers. Coordinate and participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities to promote the organization and attract top talent. Human Resources Management: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive integration into the organization. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements and support the organization's goals. Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, performance management, and conflict resolution. Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, particularly in areas related to mental health services and care. Assist in managing employee relations and fostering a positive workplace culture that promotes employee well-being and engagement. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Stay current on trends and best practices in HR and mental health fields to continuously improve recruitment and HR processes. Work closely with leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives and strategic goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience as a Recruiting & Human Resources Specialist, with a focus on recruiting mental health professionals. In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and New Jersey employment laws. Strong understanding of the mental health field, including the industry's various roles, qualifications, and challenges. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively. Proficiency with HR software and recruitment tools. Benefits :
