Under the supervision of the Talent and Development Manager, the Recruiter will be primarily responsible for organizational hiring needs and will be the primary point of contact for several locations throughout the state.  Blanchard Machinery Company is committed to fostering a high-performance work culture with challenging work opportunities that inspire high quality results. Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs. Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), administers appropriate assessments and makes recommendations to hiring managers for open positions. Schedules interviews for hiring manager, coordinates candidate communication and follow up. Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process. Delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings. Coordinates and manages pre-employment background check process. Responsible for continuous communication with candidates and coordinating new hire orientation. Schedules touch point meetings with new hires at 30-60-90 days. Partners with hiring managers to ensure a positive new hire experience. Active participation in managing the Think Big Program, pre-screening student candidates, tracking program assessment completion and BMC interview process. Collects useful feedback from new hires to develop and/or enhance retention plans. Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates. Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc. Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements. Thrives in a team environment. Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree required, business or HR related field preferred. 3+ years successful recruiting experience preferred. Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment or related field preferred. Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.  Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media and recruiting process workflows. Has a track record for successfully identifying and qualifying exceptional candidates through multiple channels. Confident communicator and strong presentation and collaboration skills. Self-directed and committed to building a supportive, positive, and winning culture. Ability to lead and work effectively with teams. Professional demeanor and strong business acumen. Results oriented and focused on continuous process improvement. Ability to adapt to changing priorities; meet deadlines and works well under pressure. Creative and innovative problem solver and solution driven. Ability to maintain integrity of confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
