Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:30p
Duties and Responsibilities: Greet and Assist Visitors: Warmly welcome all on-site visitors, determine the nature of their business, and promptly announce them to the appropriate personnel. Provide compassionate and patient assistance to visitors, especially those from vulnerable populations. Manage Multi-line Telephone System: Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of each call, and forward calls to the appropriate personnel or department efficiently. Take and deliver accurate messages or transfer calls to voicemail when the relevant personnel are unavailable. Maintain Security and Confidentiality: Ensure security by having visitors and volunteers sign in and out. Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times. Administrative Support: Working with Clinical Director and Residential Services Director on referrals from DHS, DCFS, DYS, and other referral sources. Record donations received accurately on the donation form. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming reception area. Contribute to team efforts by supporting colleagues and participating in agency performance quality improvement initiatives. Customer Service: Exhibit exceptional customer service and maintain a pleasant demeanor in all interactions. Demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly when dealing with sensitive or challenging situations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in environments serving vulnerable populations.
Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think quickly and find appropriate solutions or personnel to address visitors' needs.
