We are actively seeking an entry-level Receptionist to serve our beautiful downtown Seattle office! The Receptionist will be cross-trained in other administrative areas, including Office Coordination. This position requires availability during core business hours, occurring between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is required seasonally in the spring (February-April) and fall (September-October), both after core business hours and on weekends. Flexibility in regard to scheduling is essential for this role.
When performing Receptionist duties this position is responsible for:
Answering a multi-line phone system and directing calls. Greeting clients and guests. Scheduling conference rooms. Incoming mail support. Setting up new clients across a variety of systems. Completing a variety of administrative support projects, such as arranging travel, reconciling credit cards, and creating the firm's monthly newsletter. When assisting with Office Coordination duties, the candidate selected will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the office and administration functions, including:
Event set-up/take down. Stocking food and supplies. Processing mail, shipping, and faxes. Kitchen/common area organization. Duties will also include additional responsibilities specific to public accounting processes, especially during busy season.
The candidate selected will have an energetic personality and be willing to go the extra mile for our clients and our employees. Candidates will need to be self-directed and able to work independently; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; be skilled multi-taskers; and must be detail-oriented and organized.
The salary range for this position is $16-$20/hour, depending on experience.
