Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a Receiving Specialist for our client in New Baltimore, MI. This is a 1st shift contract to hire opportunity. Shift:
7am to 3pm Pay Rate:
$19 to $20 per hour Position Summary
Work within the shipping/receiving department with a primary focus on receiving duties and raw material FIFO and a secondary focus on utilizing free time to help prepare orders for outgoing shipments. Responsibilities
v Perform forklift safety checks and maintain a safe and clean work environment
v Unload trucks using a forklift/pallet jack
v Verify product identification numbers and quantities to shippers
v Receive products electronically, print labels and properly apply them while repalletizing products for storage
v Maintain FIFO for all warehouse materials
v Report incoming damaged freight and write hold tags for products when necessary
v Pick orders for outgoing shipments (time permitting)
v Rotate stock to point of use storage areas while maintaining
v All other duties assigned. Skill Requirements

v MiOSHA Industrial Powered Truck License Physical Requirements

v Lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds and occasional loads up to 51 pounds
v Pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs
v Use of hands and legs
v Speak clearly, oral communication and hearing conversation
v Ability for rapid manual/muscular coordination simultaneously involving wrist/hands/fingers
v Vision: depth perception and distinguish basic colors
v Operation of truck or motor vehicle Protective Equipment Required

v Occasionally hard hat, gloves and safety shoes are required Working Conditions
v Works inside within an automotive component manufacturing setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
v Noise: constant above 85dcb with vibration
