Receiving Clerk

We're hiring a Receiving Clerk to join our Receiving/Shipping Department working for a national leading distributor in Richmond, VA! As a Receiving Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments. This position requires physical stamina as you will be required to lift 40 pounds regularly and safely. You will play a crucial role in assisting our Receiving Manager, working 1:1 on our logistics operation! Great opportunity for growth!
Pay: $16/hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule (Day and Time):  Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Our Receiving Clerk will: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
Unload and unpack items, matching purchase orders and packing lists.
Document and report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
Maintain an organized and clean receiving area.
Collaborate with distribution staff to store items correctly.
Learn to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Job Requirements: Resume Required.
Driver's License Required.
Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar role.
Proven Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly and safely.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
