Pioneer Metal Finishing is now hiring Grinders! Our Grinders perform precision dimensioning to the OD of multiple types of cylindrical work pieces. This work enables Grinders to process the customer's product according to their specifications. Our Grinders set up and operate various OD cylindrical grinders.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities Safely load work pieces into grinding machines. Perform grinding operations specific to work pieces. Finish, Inspect and measure workpieces, using given equipment, grinding wheels and hand tools. Select and mount grinding wheels on machines. Set up various work pieces for specific grinding methods. Read and interpret blueprints to determine grinding procedures and part specifications. Physical/Environmental/Chemical Hazards: Wear Protective gear deemed necessary for the job. Potential splash exposure near process lines. Sharp parts, sharp tooling, heavy carts, occasional hot and cold temperature and humidity levels, heat from ovens, moderate noise levels, limited hand and air tool use, compressed air (must use hearing protection). Various chemicals are used in the process. Education/Qualifications High-school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
