We helpour customers move the world.PositionOverview:We seek to hire a Train Service Technician to inspect,maintain, and repair trains with a focus on HVAC systems. Hours are 3rd shift (including weekdays, weekends, and holidays), but can includedayshift or afternoon shift based on operational needs. Your workplace will bein Orlando, FL. Flexibility to occasionally fill in at the West Palm Beach, FLmaintenance facility is encouraged. We will provide training through aqualification program.What yourday-to-day will look like:Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on thetrainset's HVAC systems.Including:Fault diagnostic, repair, braising,Perform day to day running maintenance andunscheduled repair to a fleet of locomotives, coaches, and train sets viamaintenance instructions from Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS),Follow all maintenance instructions (whereveravailable) to enforce to and maintain compliance and high-quality standards,Responsible for keeping workstation and workareas clean and free of debris at all times,Develop a working relationship with the Customeras an employee and representative of Siemens Mobility,Maintain compliance to all Federal RailroadAdministration (FRA) related safety rules, laws, and regulations,Collaborate with the leadership as needed on allsite issues, systems, and related facility operations,Willing to perform all other functions asneeded, including forklift operation, daily cleaning operations, and other asneeded.To thrive inthis role, you have:High School Diploma/GED,Minimum of 3 years of working experience as anHVAC technician,Strong backgroundin maintenance and repair of HVAC system,Setting you apart from others would be a technicaleducation along with EPA 608/609 Certification and experience with electrical systems.Why you'll love working for Siemens!Freedom and healthy work-life balance– Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, HSA/FSA, Commuter Benefits – starting Day 1!We believe that each member of our team is accountable for making decisions, solving problems, and taking actions that contribute to long-term impact and financial success.We do the right thing.
