Job summary
Radon Educator position providing education and outreach on radon air and water testing and mitigation.Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and reporting on educational programs, as well as managing inventory and interacting with professionals in the field.100% grant funded position with new funding awarded annually.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and conduct radon education programs and outreach activities• Respond to and follow-up with radon-related inquiries• Maintain an inventory of radon-related supplies• Assist in the compilation of program data for reports• Develop marketing and social media• Work to increase awareness and use of radon resistant new construction in building codes
Requirements
• At least a baccalaureate degree in the field• Knowledge about radon or willingness to learn about it• Ability to communicate complex scientific information in an understandable way• Proficiency in managing data using Excel and developing surveys using Qualtrics• Ability to travel throughout Georgia for outreach activities• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds• Valid driver's license
