Responsibilities
• Perform imaging exams following established policies and procedures• Notify physician of results• Perform basic clinical procedures under direction of physician or nurse• Maintain documentation, logs, and records• Collect and perform lab testing on laboratory samples• Maintain supply of reagents and consumables• Perform maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment• Perform Quality Control and Proficiency Testing• Retain records of all analytic activities performed• Perform ER Technician duties as needed• Travel to facility locations as required• Attend meetings• Perform additional assigned duties
Requirements
• High School diploma or GED• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology• Associate's Degree in Radiology preferred• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by state• CT Certification preferred• CT certification required within 12 months of hire in Pennsylvania• Registered Technologist with ARRT in radiography required• Registered Technologist with ARRT in computed tomography preferred• Current BLS certification required• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred• 1+ years of CT experience preferred• 1+ years of emergency room experience preferred• Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer's hardware/software, and PACS• Fluency in English
