• Verify physician order and procedure• Use radiology information systems• Explain procedures to patients• Independently operate equipment• Review patient images• Complete quality control procedures• Assist in departmental operations• Adapt behavior to specific patient population• Perform other related duties
Requirements
• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program• No required work experience• Preferred radiologic technology experience• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or registry eligible• Current unrestricted license in state of practice• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification• Proficiency in using computers and software• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Strong interpersonal skills• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel
