Radiation Test EngineerAs a Radiation Test Engineer, you will lead radiation test efforts by applying your knowledge of radiation effects and their interactions in electronic devices and materials. You will develop complex test plans and debug complex test circuits, perform radiation tests on complex devices, support analysis of the test data to assess compliance to specifications and requirements, and support the development of test reports. As the only New Space company designing for orbits past GEO, you’ll be on the cutting edge of EEE parts screening for space missions.RoleAdvise design engineers on EEE component selection and assist with design implementationDevelop test requirements before tests and document results and analysis afterwards Plan and execute multiple SEE, TID, ELDRS, and potentially DDD test campaignsDevelop custom test setups and associated software for data collection and analysisDesign and test PCBAs for radiation testing, and assist other teams in developing the same when necessary Demonstrate excellent communication ability, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with engineers across teamsRequirements3+ years of experience performing radiation effects testing for space environmentsBachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, nuclear engineering, physics, or equivalent technical fieldA passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and developmentAbility to design and layout PCBAsExperience in testing analog and digital circuitsExperience writing test software, preferably in PythonUS Citizenship or Green CardBonusExperience up-screening COTS electronics for space useExperience with testing for the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD)
