• Maintain a safe R&D lab environment• Follow guidelines and best practices for data storage and lab notebooks• Conduct inventories of chemicals and consumables• Handle hazardous chemicals safely• Organize lab storage• Conduct well-documented reactions and purifications
Requirements
• College student majoring in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering• Excellent communication and computer skills• Team player with emphasis on safety• Familiarity with water and moisture sensitive chemicals• Experience with operations inside glove boxes• B.S in chemistry or related fields• Physical requirements: wearing PPE safety equipment, ability to work in confined spaces, ability to wear a respirator
