Quality Technician

Develop and improve your skills in our dynamic and rewarding work environment.We have openings for the following shifts:Weekdays 3rd Shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am)Weekend Days (6:00 am to 6:30 pm)Responsibilities:Perform standardized tests on productNotify production and management immediately when product is out of specificationAssist in managing retain programCreate Retain samples for all inbound and outbound loads (for 6-month storage)Complete paperwork as directed using good documentation practicesMonitor shared lab email inbox and make sure all emails are responded to in a timely mannerMaintain a clean and orderly workspacePerform regular cleaning and maintenance on lab equipmentNotify Lead and Quality Manager when supplies are running lowProvide information to production staff and management when requestedCommunicate any safety or quality concerns with plant management and corporate qualityKeep lab neat and cleanOther duties as assignedQualifications:College degree preferredS. Diploma or GED and 1+ year laboratory experienceProficiency with Office 365 (primarily Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)Reliable, Organized, Efficient, Attention to detailClear verbal communicatorAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple projects independentlyAble to multi-task and prioritizeAble to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to sit, stand, kneel, walk, reach, squat, push, pull, and climb stairs for extended periods of timeMust be able to work from elevated surfaces and/or in confined spaces for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsAbout Company:Integrated Proteins™ is recognized as an industry leader in sourcing and trading rendered pet food proteins.
