SUMMARY To assist the Quality Assurance function as technical support in issues affecting manufacturing. To support and drive corrective action efforts. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to the following: Conduct routine quality inspections for incoming material and production, including in-process and final inspections. Develops, maintains and reports on plant quality Metrics/KPI's relating to stated Goals and Objectives Perform equipment calibrations, workstation audits and maintain documentation of all inspections and potential issues Assist with problem resolution; suggest process improvements Assists NPI efforts at the plant level to ensure a smooth transition of stated quality requirements to mass production Assists in all plant related recovery activities in support of any Stop Build or Stop Ship scenarios Primary Responsibility - manage the day to day quality issues in the Fixed Video and Mobile Video Assembly Areas Secondary Responsibility - Calibration, UL Certification and Out of Box Audits MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma or GED certificate; Bachelor's Degree preferred 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
