We help our customers move the world.Position Overview:This role will involve extensiveinteraction with project management, product development, engineering,manufacturing, and other members of multi-functional teams. In addition, theproject may require your support to inspect the product to contract specificationsat a supplier or customer site. Travel to sites may be required (10-20%supporting projects in the US).What your day-to-day will look like:Analyze plans, contract specifications, and requirements to determine project requirements and develop a Quality Plan tailored to the need of the project. Provide estimates associated with Quality activities during the Bid Phase.Collaborate with Engineering to review the Scope of Work and ensure quality checks are defined and accomplished. Examples are design reviews with actions completed, simulations of design, test plans and reports, and validation requirements.Coordinate preparation of suppliers, ensuring a detailed Procurement plan is communicated to the Supplier Quality team in time to support supplier audits and first article inspections.Support quality issues reported during the installation and field testing with multi-functional root cause analysis and timely corrective actions.Participate in status meetings and project evaluations, reporting quality status, and jointly working with Project and Commercial Project Managers to ensure the project's progress and accurate reporting.Support the identification, initiation, and coordination of continuous improvement activities for all project phases. Ensure good practice sharing and feedback of experience through lesson-learned workshops and project auditing.Facilitate training for project employees concerning knowledge of quality methods and project landmark processes.To thrive in this role, you have:6+ years experience as a Quality Manager in Projects, Supplier Quality Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or other similar/related roleAbility to facilitate multi-functional teams to action or solution.Experience with quality methods and configuration management toolsExperience with Key Performance Indicators, routine reporting, and activities to drive improvement.Critical thinking and multitasking skills - organization is key!Leadership, collaboration, and conflict resolution skillsQualified Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States.
