Quality Manager

We're seeking a dedicated Quality Manager to oversee Quality Assurance at the plant level for multi-state distribution. You'll ensure the production of safe, high-quality products by implementing corporate quality assurance policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities: Lead implementation of the Food Safety Modernization Act. Implement corporate quality assurance programs to prevent quality or safety issues. Monitor finished product quality to meet corporate and customer specifications. Supervise the quality team and manage departmental spending. Develop skills of direct reports and plant employees. Ensure the plant is audit- and inspection-ready at all times. Provide support for customer, regulatory, and third-party audits. Lead Process Improvement initiatives. Develop complete HACCP and QACCP plans for the plant. Troubleshoot and resolve production-related problems. Stay current with industry, regulatory, and certifying agency guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. 5 years of management experience. 3+ years of quality experience, preferably in the food or beverage industry. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer. Effective negotiation skills with the ability to listen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong MS Office skills. Positive attitude with the ability to multitask. Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
