Here, you'll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About This Role:The Quality Manager I will lead a team of quality engineers within the Maple Grove Nitinol Shape Memory business unit supporting manufacturing and new product development.In a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Quality Manager I will be responsible for directing and prioritizing quality signals and improvement projects to ensure the manufacture and delivery of high-quality products and facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements while partnering with Production, Engineering, R&D, and Process Development teams.  Key responsibilities include:Provide guidance and training to staff, assist subordinates in attaining career goals, motivate individuals to achieve results, and recruit and maintain a high-performing teamManages and/or provides day-to-day leadership to engineers and cross functional team members and set priorities accordinglyOwn and drive deliverables related to Product Performance, Quality, and Compliance; key partner in all manufacturing department goals and objectivesLead & create engagement around continuous improvement activities within the production line/area; driving corrective and preventive actionsSupport new product and process integrations with built in quality and strategies that align to production areaMaintain and enhance cross-functional and cross-site relationshipsProvide guidance regarding technical strategies and approaches; work cross-functionally in identifying and resolving technical issuesFoster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectivesMonitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. federal/country and regulatory requirements)Required Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelors degree in engineering or related field with 8 years of related experience or Minimum of a Masters degree with 6 years of related experienceMinimum of 3 years of supervisory and/or management experienceMinimum of 3 years managing and leading projectsPreferred Qualifications:Medical device experienceAdvanced technical degree preferredPrevious experience in Nitinol processingProven business acumen, effective communication skills, demonstrated track record of project management execution, and leadership experienceRequisition ID:581165Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substance testing requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
