Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Quality Inspector to join our Manufacturing department based in Mobile, ALA Quality Inspector will monitor product assurance requirements and regulations, inspection plan and/or drawings and/or specifications.The Inspector will check and attest the compliance of products and ensure the contract conformity.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and perform visual, incoming, first article, final inspections during aircraft manufacture for compliance with design specifications, customers and certification requirements.• Support troubleshooting, Functional Test Procedures(FTPs) and participate in Quality Survey requests.• Compile all technical data of non-conformance in order to launch the SAP NCMS-based quality discrepancy sheets for the professional assessment in accordance with the manufacturing engineering documentation.• Document all the results of the technical inspector in the FLEXNET/NCMS/SAP based IT system.• Attain skills to perform audits of Non-Conformance Rework Orders as part of the Material Review Board (MRB).• Perform audits/reviews of workbooks to validate PV approval and process adherence.• Track and maintain components during the Non Conformance process.
Requirements
• 3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in an aviation company with an emphasis on mechanical and/or structural components and assemblies.• Previous experience in a mechanic or technician role is highly desirable.• Airline experience is desirable.• High school diploma or GED.• Preferred: FAA Airframe & Powerplant License, an A&P license including inspection authorization is preferred.
