Read and interpret customer documentation, internal & external quality requirements and Engineering Changes. Review processes to ensure they meet all product and customer requirements: Review Process Flow for accuracy and proper inspection and data collection points. Review process work instructions (WIs) for all processes. Create Quality Work Instructions (QWIs) Ensure proper inspection tooling is in place prior to builds. Monitor product metrics (FPY, OBA, DPMO) to validate process effectiveness and facilitate necessary improvements. Aid the production floor to evaluate and resolve issues related to Man/Method/Machine/Material/Measurement/Environment. Review all supplier or customer discrepancies. Coordinate and track the corrective/preventative action effort via the SQE Team. Interface and provide technical support on quality issues with the customer as needed. Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the QE department and between the various support groups.
