The Ulbrich Wire Group of companies are divisions of Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, Inc. Our wire facilities have over 40 years of experience producing thousands of unique shapes and sizes for many markets. The Ulbrich Wire Group works together to bring a wide range of capabilities and leadership to the industry all across the globe.Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain the Ulbrich Quality Management System;Generate, maintain, and submit documents associated with various customer required packages (PPAP, PFO, FMEA, SPC, and gauge R&R documents);Manage documentation preparation for customer on-site source inspections;Assist the Quality Manager with the implementation and maintenance of an ISO-9001 or AS-9100 approved quality management system;Function as primary point of contact relative to customer complaints pertaining to documentation and compliance to specification;Act as the Lead Auditor for internal and supplier audits;Implementation of continual improvement (A3) and corrective action (8D) requirements.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or a technical field is preferred;Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience in quality management, quality engineering, or six sigma application; andEffective communication skills – verbal, written, presentation; and intermediate skills with MS Office.Additional Qualifications:Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or Quality Engineer preferred;Experience in an AS9100 or ISO-9001 environment;Strong knowledge of lean principles and root cause analysis;Statistical data analysis and problem solving ability;Ability to interpret customer specifications and manufacturing requirements;Team building ability through all levels and areas of the organization; andGeneral understanding of performance management requirements (KPIs).Additional InformationUlbrich offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including an opportunity to earn a bonus.
