Quality Engineer

EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

BS/BA degree in engineering.
Advanced verbal/written communication, employee relations and organizational skills.
Advanced computer skills.
Advanced problem solving skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Eight years manufacturing and supervisory experience required, ten years preferred.
Eight years experience in manufacturing processes, systems and tools:
Continuous Improvement
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing Methodology
IATF 16949
FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, Process Flow, Corrective Action Process, etc.
Problem Solving Methodologies (5-Why, 8D, etc.). Shainin or Six Sigma Certification a plus.
3-5 years experience in leading Quality Department in automotive industry.
