We are seeking a talented and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our amazing team at Kaman Precision Products in Middletown, CT. If you have excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for quality, we want to hear from you!
Develop and implement plans to accomplish Quality department objectives that support schedule and meet contract objectives. Work with and interpret blueprints, drawings and mil-specs in accordance with government and/or customer contract requirements. Support closeout of NC's to ensure appropriate corrective action has been taken. Support Quality Department FAI inspection activities. Assist in the development and presentation of training programs, as needed. Follow standard departmental and company procedures as outlined by management. BS degree in related technical field and 0 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance or related responsibilities, or AS degree in related technical field and 4 to 7 years of experience in quality assurance or related responsibilities.
Broad knowledge of a general technical field such as quality assurance engineering, electrical or mechanical engineering, or applied sciences.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 regulations.
Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for excellence.
