The Quality Data Scientist at BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky will have a unique, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, launching the facility from ground up.
As a Quality Data Scientist on our team, you will focus on preventive quality control, developing and implementing machine learning models to detect anomalies in our manufacturing components' test data. Your work will be crucial in identifying quality issues during production and ensuring our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and fine-tune anomaly detection machine learning models for manufacturing components test data. Analyze and interpret multi-modal datasets, uncovering trends and insights that will inform our quality control strategies. Continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of existing machine learning models. Develop scalable model architectures for fast and reliable model retraining purposes. Collaborate with the production team and other stakeholders to prevent defective parts from reaching customers. Document and communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning algorithms and industry best practices. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of two years of experience in Python programming language. 2+ years' experience in analyzing high-dimensional datasets. 2+ years of experience with supervised machine learning algorithms and at least one of the following popular Machine learning frameworks: Scikit-learn, Pytorch, TensorFlow, and XGBoost. 2+ years of experience with data analysis and visualization Python packages such as Pandas, SciPy, Seaborn, etc. 1+ years' experience in SQL programming language and relational databases. Solid understanding of unsupervised machine learning algorithms such as isolation forests, one-class SVM, autoencoders, etc. Familiarity with feature engineering concepts, Fourier transform, and statistical feature extraction and selection. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred. Experience with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration. Experience with Google Cloud Platform for data processing and machine learning tasks. Familiarity with the concept of time-frequency analysis and deep learning-based feature extraction. Familiarity with sequential data modeling, feature extraction, and deep neural net architectures such as LSTM, GANS, and Conditional Random Fields.
