Full job description As a 3rd Shift Quality Control Technician, you will preform quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. You will report to a Quality Manager and work onsite at our Adrian, MI plant. This shift is 11pm to 7:30am.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform QC testing of incoming production samples Communicate with production, quality control and technical associates Ensure that all products and raw materials tested meet PPG Quality standards Input data/results into various electronic databases Test Finished Goods over a time period - recheck viscosity program Remove & recycle older samples into scrap containers Provide batch adjustment information to associates by walking through the production area Qualifications:
High School Diploma required Ability to lift 25 lbs. required Basic math skills and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required 1+ year of practical laboratory knowledge and/or experience preferred Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
