Responsibilities
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures• Inspect, sample and test aggregates, asphalt or other materials for quality control• Sample and test mixtures for compliance with contract specifications• Monitor and test process functions and materials daily• Prepare and record accurate information• Assist internal and external customers• Obtain required certifications• Follow quality control plans or guidelines• Perform general cleaning of work areas• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check• Pass a pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical• Able to perform physical tasks and lift heavy weights• Provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document• Display a professional and courteous attitude• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary• Willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures• Must have a valid driver's license• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)• At least age 18 years due to nature of working environment• Minimum high school diploma required, some college/technical school/related experience desired
