Job Summary The Quality Control Supervisor ensure s the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of fieldwork activities for cultural resource projects. The Quality Control Supervisor oversee s quality control processes, procedures, and documentation to uphold the highest standards of archaeological data collection and reporting.

Compensation : Chloeta reserves the right to offer any candidate above or below the listed compensation amount based on experience or business needs.
$53,000-$78,000 per year FLSA Exempt Duties/Responsibilities Develop s and implement s quality control protocols, procedures, and checklists to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of fieldwork activities, data collection, and reporting for cultural resource projects. Conduct s regular site visits and inspections to monitor fieldwork activities, assess compliance with project protocols and regulatory requirements, and identify any issues or concerns. Provide s guidance, training, and support to field crews and project staff on quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices for archaeological survey, excavation, artifact analysis, and documentation. Review s field data, site records, field notes, photographs, and other documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established protocols and standards. Collaborate s with project managers, archaeologists, and other team members to address quality control issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure project objectives are met. Maintain s accurate records of quality control inspections, findings, and actions taken, and prepares reports or summaries as needed for project leadership and regulatory agencies. Assist s with artifact processing, analysis, and curation as needed, ensuring that quality control measures are maintained throughout the process. Stay s current on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in cultural resource management and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) for archaeological projects. Required Skills/Abilities Comprehensive understanding of cultural resource management principles, regulations, and best practices, including knowledge of federal laws such as the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and associated guidelines. Proficiency in archaeological survey methods, excavation techniques, artifact identification, recording, and documentation, with the ability to assess the quality and accuracy of fieldwork activities. Familiarity with quality control protocols, procedures, and checklists for archaeological data collection, artifact processing, analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with project objectives and regulatory requirements. Meticulous attention to detail to identify discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in field data, site records, field notes, photographs, and other documentation, and to ensure the accuracy and completeness of project deliverables. Strong leadership skills to oversee quality control processes, procedures, and documentation for cultural resource projects, providing guidance, training, and support to field crews and project staff. Clear and concise written communication skills to prepare quality control reports, summaries, and documentation for project leadership, regulatory agencies, and clients. Ability to troubleshoot quality control issues, resolve problems, and make informed decisions to maintain the integrity and accuracy of archaeological data and reporting. Strong organizational skills to manage quality control inspections, findings, and documentation efficiently, maintaining clear and accurate records of quality control activities and outcomes. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree archaeology, anthropology, or related field in cultural resources Required: At least seven (7) years of working experience in quality control in cultural resource services Required: Field sampling training in cultural resource services Required: Completion of field school in archae ology or anthropology Preferred: At least two (2) years of cultural resources experience in the Great Plains Regions; Oklahoma, Texas and Kanas Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc. Benefits Eligible employees receive the following benefits:?
