Position Overview:We are seeking aQuality Control Manager to join our team.The ideal candidatewill have excellent organizational, leadership and communications skills, as well as a strong understanding offederal government projects.The Quality Control Manager (QCM)is responsible forensuring quality control requirements and compliance with Construction Documents are met throughout the design and/or construction process. The QCM will manage the quality team onsite and ensure all documentation/reporting/etc. are complete and compliant.This role will sit on site and support our team andproject in Columbus, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Plan project quality controlsand fully implement provisions of the Quality Control plan asrequiredby the Contract Documents Manage quality control operationsin accordance withagreed standards, regulations,codesand clientrequirements Ensure that documents relating to quality control, such as inspection reports,testsand certificates, areaccurateand up todate Develop and improve the quality control system to ensure compliance with regulations and clientrequirements Organize and document quality control tests andinspections Analyze quality control test results and recommend necessary correctiveactions Identifyand resolve quality controlissues Conduct risk assessments and develop risk managementplans Prepare regular reports on quality control activities andsubmitto the relevantstakeholders Ensure all personnel involved in quality control areproperly trainedandqualified Maintain records of all quality control activities Act as theproject quality liaison with internal and externalstakeholders Qualifications Demonstrated experience in quality control in the constructionindustry Experience on public, private,commercialand/or federal construction projects (vertical, horizontal, etc.) Knowledge of relevant regulations,codesand standards Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of ateam Active QCM Certification through USACE Bachelorsdegree inConstruction Management, Engineering orrelated field Fiveplusyears ofonsite experience Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite,Procore, etc. Ideal candidate would also have 5 years of Site Safety Health Officerexperience Physical Requirements Sit,standand walk continuously throughout the scheduledworkday Stand, reach, drive and use fine motor skillsfrequentlythroughout theday Occasionally bend, kneel,squatand climb throughout theworkday Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and may be in loudenvironments Must work in a manner that will not jeopardize the health and safety of him/herself orothers
