What's a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You'll be:
• Conducting inspections on in-process and finished vehicles to ensure compliance with manufacturing methods, procedures, and requirements.
• Identifying and reporting defects or non-performing items during the production process.
• Verifying specifications on upfitted vehicles, calculating payload, and applying decals.
• Performing torque tests, A/C & heat temperature tests using calibrated equipment.
• Maintaining inspection pictures on the network drive.
• Upholding organization and quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, and documenting quality results.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of quality experience.
• Have 1+ year of related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Have an active and valid Driver's License.
• Are comfortable using hand tools, torque wrenches, using a tape measure, good with calculations, and have experience using blueprints.
• Have an understanding of automobile mechanical parts and functions.
• Have strong problem-solving skills with excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
