Description: ABOUT THE ROLE
Work with other members of the quality team to ensure the uninterrupted operation of the plant in order to maximize operational efficiency in an environment of continuous improvement. To ensure that all testing equipment is operating properly, and to certify that the completed product meets intended specifications. Provides verbal and/or written test results. Certifies results of laboratory findings.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Provide process control and product certification results by operating laboratory analytical and physical test equipment. Calibrate and ensure that process testing equipment is operating within designated parameters Report information using computer data management systems. Maintain and repair as needed, all laboratory testing and processing equipment. Emergency backup to vacation relief position Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the lab Maintain monthly lab equipment compliance checklist Ensures that all testing is conducted efficiently and consistently to ensure accurate results. Prepare required documents with test results to quality control management. Ensure that safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed. Examines laboratory samples to determine their physical properties. Uses a variety of instruments and calculations to determine conformity. Performs various tests to make certain that samples meet required standards. Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings. Maintains records of test results using various databases. Train employees to understand cement specification and be quality conscious as needed. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Associate's degree or 2+ years quality control or manufacturing experience
Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Science or comparable industry experience

Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
