Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for managing plant's Quality programs within a growing food processing facility, ensuring compliance with company established procedures as per HACCP, SOP, USDA and FDA standards. Requirements· Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

· Five plus years of quality control experience; in a food-manufacturing environment

· HACCP, SQF Certification highly desirable

· Maintain, guide and perform required annual Audits

· Develop and maintain quality programs such as Pest Control, Supplier Management, Safety, Microbiological Testing


· Conduct inspections in accordance to CCP's, GMP's, HACCP and SSOP's

· Investigate and respond to Customer complaints, implement changes and write corrective actions 

· Work with Plant Manager and Sanitation Manager to ensure proper housekeeping and maintenance of facility, equipment and grounds

· Work with Vendors to ensure established quality standards of all purchases

· Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, including Excel 

· Prior experience within the food-processing industry

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
