Position Summary
Malouf is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for overseeing our global quality activities and initiatives. The candidate will have significant support from management but must have experience with traditional quality related activities such as developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems. Leading global teams of quality professionals. Continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, and real-world experience with supplier development. Specific Duties/Responsibilities: Direct the daily activities of the global supplier quality engineering teams ensuring execution of process audits, product inspections and continuous improvement activities. Schedule 3 rd party audits and inspections then oversee corrective/preventative action as necessary. Oversee the approval of daily quality reports for process audits and product inspections. Assist in driving the configuration and implementation of new quality systems and tools. Assist in the creation of internal datasets for the quality organization to identify top quality related issues. Assist in the creation of internal processes and procedures for the quality organization. Lead root cause analysis and defect mitigation plans when quality defects are identified Develop and own the quality segment of supplier scorecards Travel for extensive collaboration with domestic and international personnel Qualifications and Required Experience: Bachelors' Degree; or 5 years work experience in a related quality role. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take initiative, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Benefits: Insurance premiums paid 100% by Malouf.
