Quality Assurance Manager

Position Overview: The QA Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance program and processes for a food manufacturing company. This position will ensure that all products being produced meet applicable regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance and food safety processes, systems, and procedures in accordance with local regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements Monitor daily production operations to ensure product quality and food safety Conduct audits to ensure that products meet the quality standards set by the organization Identify and investigate quality and food safety issues in the production process Coordinate the development of corrective and preventive actions to address any quality or food safety issues Train personnel on quality and safety standards and practices Ensure compliance to GFSI, cGMP, and FDA requirements Perform chemical control tests on products to ensure product quality Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Food Science, Food Processing or related field 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Manufacturing Strong knowledge of GFSI, cGMP, and FDA requirements Ability to analyze data and identify trends regarding product quality Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
