Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented person who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through detailed record-keeping, internal audits, organization and scheduling, and participation in process improvement programs. No prior experience in cheesemaking or food processing is required. We will train.

Responsibilities
Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
Participate in cheesemaking, capturing process information for record-keeping
Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
Perform internal audits and engage with external auditors, compiling detailed reports of findings and response actions
Obtain and maintain food safety-related certifications (training will be provided)
Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, training and performance evaluations

Qualifications Desired
Parenting experience
Supervisory experience
Strong moral compass

Requirements
Onsite presence - Monday through Friday in full-time capacity
Interest in dairy processing / cheesemaking
