Title: Quality Assurance Engineering Assistant
Pay Rate : $18 - 19/HR (Depending upon experience)
Work Schedule: MO - TH (7am - 4pm/EST) and FR 7am - 11am/EST)
Location: Blacksburg, VA - 100% Onsite
Job Type: 12+ Month / Contract to Direct Hire
Work duties "At-a-Glance": Document First Article Inspections reports for QA Engineers' and Customer Representatives' review Create First Article checks sheets for engineering drawing package releases Review and revise Inspection Reports specifics for unique products Develop written procedures per customer requirements and direction from Quality Assurance Engineers Complete paperwork required for engineering parts with accuracy Active participant in Continuous Improvement Process plans Job Requirements
Required Skills, Education, and Experience: 3 years experience as an Engineering Assistant AS degree in Engineering Sciences or collegiate enrollment towards a AS degree in Engineering Sciences Technical engineering insight to contribute to the Quality Engineering team's effectiveness in meeting goals Superb organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Strong verbal and written communications and industrial mechanical and electrical aptitude Microsoft Suite; Excel, Outlook, Word Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience: ERP or MRP systems experience AS degree in Engineering or Sciences is preferred BS degree in Engineering or Sciences is a plus Additional Info to know: Upon offer of employment, must pass background check and FAA drug screens Upon hire, verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and complete employment verification form Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
