Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for safety event reporting, quality and performance improvement within either the hospital setting or from a vendor perspective. Responsible to use their background experience to assist VigiLanz in the continued development of our Care Management and Safety modules and other projects pertinent to their areas of expertise. Responsible for assisting with the training and support of VigiLanz clients using the Care Management and Safety modules. Work with VigiLanz team members on items including but not limited to clinical decision support alert and report building, Safety Surveillance and dashboard offerings. Serve as an expert consultant and support to the VigiLanz sales and marketing teams. Understand JCAHO/DNV and other regulatory agencies, Core Measures, and Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services requirements as well as national trends in this arena. Client Support and Training and Implementation: Set-up client sites in accordance with VigiLanz implementation protocols. Work with customers to proactively suggest ways to optimize the use and value of VigiLanz Monitor clients to ensure that customers are compliant with required reporting elements Deliver on-site and remote product training sessions as needed. Provide timely, accurate and well documented support to VigiLanz clients. Conduct regular site check-in calls with clinical directors Develop Identify opportunities for and participate in client relationship building activities Work with cross functional team to triage and escalate issues as needed Sales and Marketing Support: Demonstrate and articulate the capabilities and value of the VigiLanz software to prospective clients during sales calls and tradeshows Support marketing and sales team in the review of sales and marketing materials Assist marketing and sales with strategic planning for Care Management and Safety promotion Provide recommendations around and attend conferences as indicated to provide expert, professional clinical support Assist sales representatives with identifying key references, or opportunities and assist with special projects and marketing strategies Consultation: Provide expert clinical consultation to VigiLanz team members in the format and time period requested. Development: Assist with conceptual development of Patient Safety Event Reporting and Care Management projects, project planning, product testing and marketing and client roll-out Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement; Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer. Job Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience or Associated Vendor Experience Experience that is current with JCAHO and Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services, and national, mandated QA reporting requirements Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with multiple diverse teams and skill sets Excellent time management and independent work skills Must communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing. Communication with clients is supportive, timely and geared towards maintaining a positive VigiLanz image Effectively plan and conduct client training sessions for large groups and individuals, both via webinar and in person Strong computer literacy and analytical skills Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse settings, with a solution-oriented approach Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time); Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force; Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions; Subject to inside environmental conditions; and Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
