Hi,I have an interesting opportunity just north of Wichita. My client is need o someone at the beginning of their career who has a degree in Chemistry or something in the STEM hemisphere. This is an entry level position with a fast track as the current GM is getting close to retiring and in general the bench is empty.Responsibilities of the position would be doing quality control on aqueous chemicals and helping with the coordination of logistics and operators on the location.I would say math skills and the ability to measure and execute a formulation is the key initial skill. Down the line you can work on reformulation and take a bigger hand in operations in line with the tasks the General Manager already performs. The other option is to go into sales for the company as you learn the product.Of that bat it is a hourly position with expected take home of 60-70k and full benefits. Normal hours M-F.They would like someone who wants to stay local and grow their large company. They are moderately large so there could be opportunities for a transfer as well.Shoot me an email with any questions at All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.
