QA/QC Engineer Responsibilities Are you interested in contributing to our multi-disciplinary team focused on developing meaningful solutions for law enforcement and homeland security missions? You would join our team as a Quality Assurance/Control (QA/QC)Test engineer to support a law enforcement program involving full-lifecycle software development activities.
Job Responsibilities : As a QA/QC test engineer, you will be responsible for conducting manual tests with various software tools and applications and clearly articulate findings, issues, steps to replicate, and other feedback. Depending on the activity/project you may be responsible for some or all of the following areas:
Collaborate with the development team to test new features and ensure common understanding of requirements/user stories Work with stakeholders and end users to elicit, understand, analyze, and document feature requirements Design, implement, execute, and assess software quality through manual (and automated experienced) test cases to ensure product quality Create, update, and execute interactive tests and create associated reports Troubleshoot, reproduce, and log defects as needed Maintain system test plans and other related documentation Perform Static Code Analysis (SCA) and analyze results to contribute towards better code quality Prepare test metrics and present results in the Retrospective ceremony Contribute to the decomposition and flow of tickets in an agile project management system Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Experience - multiple levels can be accommodated: Mid-level: BS Degree + 3 years work Experience Compensation: $59,670 - $126,180 Senior-level: BS Degree + 8 years work experience or MS Degree + 5 years work experience AND Must Possess a Scaled AgileCertification such as SAFe ® Agilist Compensation: $72,090 - $168,030 Experience conducting manual tests with various software tools and applications and are able to clearly articulate findings, issues, steps to replicate, and other feedback Working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe) Working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: Jira/Zephyr, Confluence, and Fisheye Working knowledge of current software testing methodologies Must posses an active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS clearance Excellent spoken and written communication skills Desired skills and knowledge: Possess a sense of ownership and professional pride Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with modern software libraries like Java/Python, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Docker, automated test tools like Selenium, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, microservice architectures, and container orchestration platforms like Docker. Previous experience supporting law enforcement clients Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receivea prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis' total compensation package for employees.
