Our Festus, MO Plant is looking for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join our manufacturing team.
Responsible to work with both operations and maintenance to assure production and quality goals are achieved without interruption for lack of materials or services. Assure the supply of adequate spare parts inventory, while monitoring spare parts inventory dollar levels. Must also require that the storeroom keep adequate records for reordering of supplies for inventory. Will prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment. Will supervise Storeroom Supervisor. Bachelor's Degree is preferred 3-5 years of experience Must be able to plan, organize, manage and evaluate purchasing activities and the budget of an organization Must comply with the organization's purchasing policies, procedures, standards and strategies in order to ensure process transparency, fairness, impartiality and confidentiality Must possess the following skills in: negotiation, persuasion, supervision, active listening, learning, critical thinking and ethical behavior Buzzi Unicem USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
