This position will be responsible for purchasing equipment for new stores/remodels and special projects. The successful candidate will be a strong team player possessing excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, and be adaptable to a fast-paced, challenging environment. This position will report to the Purchasing Manager and will provide ample opportunity for learning, growth, and for advancement.
Scheduling deliveries for new stores, remodels, special projects, and equipment replacements in existing stores. Provide follow up support for deliveries. Tracking deliveries. Placing equipment purchase orders. Receiving and vetting equipment quotes. Identify and research prospective suppliers. Monitor supplier performance to resolve issues. Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory counts. Warranty support. Damage claims. Bachelor's Degree Minimum 1-3 years purchasing experience Ability to work & communicate at many different levels within our organization as well as across functional areas including Merchants, Operations, Construction, & Accounting). Experience in Purchase Order systems preferrably Coupa. Proficiency with the MS Office suite. Highly motivated, creative individual, who thinks strategically and possesses strong analytical skills. Ability to manage several projects at the same time. Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of the purchasing process. Previous experience in a retail environment. Ability to stay organized.
