Public Safety Dispatcher Full-Time; FTE 1.0 11:00pm-7:00am Rock Island, IL Monitors Switchboard and Dispatcher services and staff members on a day-to-day basis to ensure the provision of excellent customer service. Provides additional switchboard/ Dispatch coverage as needed.

Maintains department schedule. Listens effectively to concerns and addresses them appropriately and promptly. Works with manager to address disciplinary issues involving switchboard and dispatch staff. Schedules and attends meetings with appropriate management to foster unity between departments. Monitors and demonstrates appropriate departmental dress code. Minimum Requirements Identify items that are minimally required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Preferred or Specialized Not required to perform the essential functions of the position.
Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience in a leadership capacity with excellent consumer relations skills
Minimum one year switchboard experience in a healthcare facility
License(s)/Certification(s): Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: · Must demonstrate positive and effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be an active listener and decisive problem solver.
· Must demonstrate a hands-on approach to leadership/coaching of staff.
