Open year round, the Inn is a five-minute stroll from Chatham's charming Main Street and within a short drive of all Cape Cod has to offer.We are looking to hire a full time year-round Public Area Attendant.The Public Area Attendant is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the public areas, reporting deficiencies to ensure all rooms are maintained in accordance to standards and procedures of public areas as set forth by Forbes, AAA, Preferred Hotels and Resorts and Chatham Bars Inn.Ensure all public areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained up to the standard as demonstrated by Housekeeping supervisory staff during initial training.Continuously uses chemicals to clean and sanitize the public restrooms including sinks, mirrors, walls, toilets and floors. Stocks the restrooms with sufficient paper products and amenities.Sweeps, vacuums, extracts, scrubs, waxes, and polishes public area floors both interior and exterior.Cleans and polishes furniture and upholstered items, ensuring they are always in the best condition.Dusts furniture, wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.Welcomes guests and creates a hospitable experience.RequirementsSuperior organizational skillsSuperior attention to detailCan work well independently as well as in a team settingFollow direction wellAble to meet deadlinesAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Being flexible and motivatedProfessional appearance and groomingAble to work with cleaning chemicals/products Benefits of working as a Public Area Attendant in Chatham, MA:
